How To Download Games On A Flash Drive

Currently, the way im gaming from my PC was by downloading games onto a flash drive from my Laptop and launching steam from the USB onto my PC. However, my 1 TB hardrive has arrived, and I was wondering if anyone knows how to allow me to keep doing the same process, but to move the downloaded games onto my HDD from my USB after every download. Under the 'Devices and drives' section, double-click the USB flash drive to see its data. Select the files and folders. Click the Copy to button from the 'Home' tab. Click the Choose location. The cool thing is you can make Windows 10 keep huge games or apps to a larger USB flash drive or SD Card. Note: This is an updated article to reflect the changes in Windows 10 Anniversary edition. So your PC is older and you cant build a new one yet but you still want to play Fortnite, well lets say you work for a company that provides you with a labto. Easy, all you have to do is extracet the folder of the game, and drag it into your USB or flashdrive. Works with SD cards too. Like and favoirte this SH.T!

Yup. When it asks you where to download just point it to your flash drive or external drive. It's as simple as that. Running off of one might be an option as well, though possibly requiring some editing.Drive

You can also test the process of downloading games with some of the free ones that should already be in your library. Any game you buy will work exactly the same.

Or, you can just maintain your digital library on Gog until you are ready to install onto your new rig.

Just to make sure you realize, there isn't any kind of restriction how many times and when you download your GOG games. You can do it whenever and as many times as you want, as long as GOG servers are up of course.
This is the norm also for other digital stores, no restrictions on how many times you can download your game. The only exception I remember from the past was Strategy First's store, where there was some restriction (either that you can download the game installers only a few times, or maybe there was a time limit, like 30 days after purchase). And maybe Amazon had a similar restriction for some of their digital goods years ago (but not anymore)?
So, unless you are afraid GOG might go bankrupt in the near future, you can postpone downloading your purchased GOG games until your rig is ready.

So I need a little help, is there anyway I can install and run an older game from a flashdrive?
My school gives out computers and were getting back into the season of downtime.
The game i am trying to play is RCT2, I have installed in onto my personal computer, but when I even move the game files folder to the desktop, the game will no longer start because it is looking for a CD Disk. Any Ideas??
